  Fish and chips were not good. They seemed like they were microwaved from the night before. Not freshly deep fried. Ribs however was amazing. Service was fast and friendly.

  Great grub. Fried chicken was excellent. Taters perhaps a bit over fried. But otherwise good. Wife had fish n chips, loved it!

  UNIMPRESSED with bathroom! Walls dirty, toilet marginal, mirror ripped off wall, baseboards dirty, etc.

  Tonight I had the absolute worst service experience I've ever had at any restaurant, in my life. Me, my fiance & aunt went to R&J's -- my aunt left early, and we waited 40 min. before we were served our food, but that's not what bothered me. When we were finally served, I asked if I could have a fork; I didn't have any cutlery at all (no napkin, etc.), Wendy (our waitress) came back and held the fork up, and asked me if I dropped the other one on the floor (the other fork, wasn't mine, it was my aunts, and I just said that, it isn't mine, it's my aunts), she seemed unimpressed, and didn't hand it to me, finally I took the clean fork that she was holding up (holding it hostage) out of her hand, I never got a serviette or any other cutlery first and last, she never came back to ask us how our meal was, or if we wanted dessert, etc. We waited quite a while until finally we left. I found a hair in my poutine, which really didn't bother me much at all. But in any case, there was no one to tell, like I said, our food was served, and no one came back after that. I was floored. I know there aren't a lot of options of places to eat in Twillingate, but I was literally beside myself. Where is the professionalism? Was that response from her necessary, would it have been too much to expect for us to get our own cutlery, and have someone come back and ask us if we wanted anything else? We had planned to get dessert, anyways we promptly left.
